Cast Inserts & Combinations
A cast iron insert is a decorative plate with complimentary front bars that incorporates a fire and comes in the form of an arched, fascia or a tiled insert. There is huge variety of styles available and can be matched up with the majority of our suites.
Limestone is a softer, more porous stone created by millions of years of fossilisation. The veins & fusions that are the characteristic of this material are not considered defects but are part of the natural beauty the earth brings meaning each fireplace created will have a unique look to it. The Semi Rejo, Mocha and Aegean we stock offer different features meaning they can be used singularly or as becoming more common, combining them to create contrast within a suite. All of our marble suites can be made in any of the stones we stock and we can offer our made to measure service on them too!
Our collection of wooden surrounds is designed to give you the widest choice from traditional, classical to ultra modern. Between ourselves and our suppliers team of professional craftsmen, we can supply a wide selection of laminate & solid timber mantles to satisfy all tastes & budgets
An inglenook is a small recess usually within a class 1 chimney used to house stoves or basket fires although it is becoming increasingly common to create these chambers out of studwork and plasterboard which saves costs. Virtually all of our marble fireplace range can be opened up into an inglenook style and the chamber lined in a number of different ways. Matching marble, contrasting black granite or slate, original brickwork or simply a plastered finish are just a few ways you can do it. If you are fitting a solid fuel stove, only certain materials should be used. Ask for details.
Black Granite Suites
Black Granite is a very sleek stone and is renowned for its elegant appearance. Although not as widely available as it once was, it is becoming increasingly popular to have our marble fireplaces made out of black sparkle or rivern slate.
Hole in the Walls
The ever increasing variety of large electric and gas fires on the market means a fantastic centrepiece to your room can be created by opening up your chimney to accommodate a stunning hole in the wall feature fireplace. They can go from a simple flat fascia to the increasingly popular glass fronted high efficiency gas fire or electric fire inserted into a purpose fitted fireplace. Alternatively, even if you have a modern house with no chimney breast present, in conjunction with our specialist tradesmen we can create your own bespoke design made to the style and size of your choice.
